After high school I attended C.O.D. with the intention to earn some basic credits towards a degree in dental hygiene, but my interest quickly changed to travel and tourism and I finished C.O.D. with 2 certificates. I have had a few career paths including the mortgage industry, United Airlines, the transportation industry and I also had the opportunity to work for the American Water Works Association in Denver, Colorado, which is a non for profit organization. Currently I am a stay at home mom. My husband Johan (who is from South Africa) and I have been married for 8 years. We have 2 children together, Paige (6 years old) and Johnny (3 years old), plus I cannot forget to mention our Siberian Husky named Lucy. I also have a terrific 15 year old step-son named Dean, who still lives in South Africa. The kids and I have had the wonderful experience of traveling to South Africa several times with my husband. Other than living in Illinois, I have had the opportunity to live in Colorado and Pensacola, Florida. My family and I are currently back in Illinois living northwest of De Kalb.

After DGN, attended SIU Carbondale, graduating with a degree in photography. I returned to Chicago in 1994 and began my career as a commercial photographer. In 2006 I married my wife, Katja, and moved to Cologne, Germany. We have 2 little girls, Marie 20 months & recent addition Hanna.

Graduated from NIU in '94 with a Bachelor's in Education and began teaching p.e. classes that year in Des Plaines. I met my wife Judi there a couple of years later and we now have a 3 year old son (Drew) and an 18 month old daughter (Hayden). Judi now teaches 1st grade in Plainfield where we live and I have been at Herrick Middle School for the past 5 years teaching 8th grade p.e. and coaching boys and girls volleyball. Starting to get some students from DGN grads that I know. A nice daily reminder of how old you are.

Graduated from Southern Illinois University in '93 with a degree in Finance. Worked for 8 years with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp (FDIC)as a bank examiner (4 years in Mt. Vernon, IL and 4 years in Downers Grove). In 2001, went to work for a small bank based out of Joliet specialing in commercial and industrial lending. Will be married 10 years in June of 09 to wife Charlene. We have two great kids Emily (7) and Wade (4).

After graduation i joined the Airforce. In 1990 I married my highschool sweetheart Annette. We have been married 19 years this October. We have three children. We moved back to Illinois in 1999. We bought a house and settled in Joliet. I am currently finishing up a bachelors degree at Governors State University then moving on to my masters in Computer Science. I like to travel, camp, and hang out with my friends and family.

I still live in the Chicago area. I'm a stay at home Mom. I don't seem to have time for a job. The kids keep me pretty busy. The oldest is about to get his license. The picture is of me with my husband about 2 years ago. The kids hate the camera, so that's why you don't see them!

Right after graduation, I moved to a small town in Central Illinois to help run the family business after the death of my dad when I was a senior. I got my Associates Degree in Music Theory from Lincoln Land Community College and moved into Springfield, IL. I joined a successful office machine company called Watts Copy Systems in '94 and have been happily working there ever since. I've been singing, songwriting and playing guitar in several rock bands ever since '89 and still rock out with my latest band Enamel (enamelband.com). I met my wife Gail at one of my shows, we married in 2000 and had our son Gavin in 2007.
